ABOUT OPSC EXAM PATTERN
PRELIMINARY EXAM
The nature of the OPSC CSE Preliminary exam is qualifying. Giving OPSC Prelims exam is mandatory and candidates who cleared this exam get eligible to write the Main exam. The commission decides the qualifying marks in the Preliminary exam. However, the marks obtained in this exam will not be considered for the ranking. The Prelims exam has two papers and the mode of the questions will be MCQ. The entire duration of the Prelims exam is 4 hours; 2 hours is allocated for each paper.

PERSONALITY TEST
The candidates for the personality test are selected on the basis of a merit list. The merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Mains Examination. Number of candidates selected is usually twice the number of likely vacancies. The personality test is conducted for a total of 250 marks with no minimum qualifying marks.
